Dr. Haridas B. Rode

Dr. Haridas B. Rode did his masters from UDCT, Mumbai (currently known as ICT) and completed his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University, Greifswald, Germany under the supervision of  Prof. Dr. Hans-Hartwig Otto. In 2006, he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Daniel Rauh at the Chemical Genomics Centre of Max Planck Institute, Dortmund, Germany as a postdoctoral researcher. After returning from Germany, he joined CSIR-HQ, New Delhi as a Senior Scientist in 2011 and led Medicinal Chemistry of Open Source Drug Discovery (OSDD). He moved to CSIR-IICT in 2014. Currently, he is a Senior Principal Scientist and his research group works in discovery of novel antituberculosis agents.
